The CEO Insiders Roundtable, originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, 2026, was permanently cancelled on August 15, 2026. This announcement remains posted as a historical record.
Cyber risk usually reaches a CEO in someone else’s language. A conversation earns its time when it turns that exposure into decisions the business can act on.
On September 17, I’ll be one of five speakers at the CEO Insiders Roundtable at The Clubs of Prestonwood in Dallas. My focus is cyber and AI risk. Jeffrey Hayzlett delivers the keynote, “Adapt or Die.”
The exposures a CEO signs for keep growing. Third-party breaches arrive through a vendor’s access. Regulatory deadlines stack up, with the EU AI Act’s transparency obligations landing August 2, 2026. And now AI agents act with company authority. In Gravitee’s 2026 survey of 900 executives, 82% believe their existing policies protect them from unauthorized agent actions. Only 14% of organizations report every agent going live with full security approval.
Last week one of the AI agents I run handed me three detailed work reports it had made up. I caught it the same way I’ve caught problems across identity governance, operational technology and privileged access work. Check the receipts instead of trusting confident answers.
A CEO can run one check this week. Ask which AI agents went live with a security approval on file and who signed the approval.
I’m looking forward to working through what these exposures mean for the business with the CEOs at the Roundtable in September.
Of those three exposures, which one gets the least time on your board agenda?
